MS4 Online Recertification ($179)
It’s a requirement that MS4 Compliance & Enforcement Certified Inspectors (MS4CECIs) re-certify every 3 years with the NPDES Stormwater Training Institute to keep up with the latest NPDES permit program changes and be reacquainted with effective principles and practices while fulfilling their MS4 responsibilities. This 4-hour Recertification Course is for existing MS4 Compliance and Enforcement Certified Inspectors (MS4CECIs) and is designed by the NPDES Stormwater Training Institute to be a self-paced course that meets the 3-year recertification requirement for the MS4CECI program.
The online presentation includes but is not limited to:
- Historical Perspective on Water Quality
- Urban Stormwater Impacts
- Point Source & Nonpoint Source Stormwater Regulations
- IDDE, Methods and Procedures for the MS4 Stormwater Inspector
This is NOT an initial certification. This course can only be used for renewal of the initial MS4CECI or MS4CCEI Certification. You will receive 4 PDH’s and a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of the course. You will be mailed your new certification ID within 3 weeks of completion. Please make sure your mailing address is correct and updated in this system.
Following course completion, recertified MS4CECI students will be able to research the latest changes in the federal and state requirements for stormwater, explain the requirements of the NPDES permitting program & in some cases local stormwater management ordinances, and describe the responsibilities of personnel involved (permittees, SWPPP design professionals, state & federal agencies) in stormwater management activities.
